The Korean Double Cleansing Method
The Korean double-cleansing method originated in Asia in the 14th century when Korean and Japanese geisha used cleansing oils followed by a foaming cleanser to remove heavy makeup.
What is the Korean double cleanse method?
The Korean double-cleansing method is not rocket science. Double cleansing is just what you are thinking.
It’s cleansing your face not once but twice.
The Method involves using an oil cleanser, cleansing oil, or balm cleanser, followed by a second cleanse using a second cleanser that is a water-based product to remove makeup and impurities.
This combination of formulas works wonders for your skin, as it helps to draw out impurities without stripping away its natural oils, leaving behind clean, beautiful skin.

How to Double Cleanse Your Face:
1. Begin by applying a gentle oil-based cleanser to the face and massage it into your skin in circular motions for 1-2 minutes.
2. Rinse off with lukewarm water, then apply a water-based cleanser to remove any remaining impurities from your pores. Massage this one into your skin in the same manner as you did with the first cleanser.
3. Rinse with lukewarm water, and dry your face with a clean towel.
4. Now that you’ve completed your double-cleansing routine, apply a toner to rebalance your skin’s pH levels, followed by a moisturizer to nourish and hydrate.
5. For best results, repeat this process every night before the rest of your skincare routine.
6. Finally, deep cleanse your skin at least once a week with an exfoliating scrub or treatment mask. This will help remove dead skin cells and keep your complexion looking bright and healthy.
By following these steps regularly, you can enjoy the benefits of double cleansing and maintaining a radiant complexion.
