Ah, the morning after! What’s worst than a hangover?

When I have a hangover (which thankfully is only once in a blue moon), I tend to reach for coconut water instead of Gateraide. It’s just better.

As I’ve said, coconut water is naturally rich in electrolytes—there are over 500 mg of potassium in just one serving, making it more hydrating than plain old water.

I also find that coconut water is easy on my stomach, which is a bonus. Another trick to avoid a hangover is to use coconut water as a mixer. It’s yummy with rum too. (just sayin’)
